Owned and operated by Deborah Benham-Sobel's sister, Becky
Benham-Gibson and her daughter Amanda McMurray.
Built and previously owned and operated by Jim Sobel and Deborah Benham-Sobel who are both retired
from the US Army. By combining their life-long love for animals with their management and organizational skills
developed as Senior NCO's (he is a retired Master Sergeant; she is a retired Command Sergeant Major), Jim and Deb designed
and built what they feel is a safe, comfortable, healthy, and efficient boarding kennel for dogs and cats.
Established in August 1997, and located on the same 10 acres that contains
the Sobel's residence, the Creature Comfort Inn originally had 20 indoor/outdoor runs for dogs and 4 spacious cages for cats.
As business and satisfied customers grew, so did the size of the kennel.
In October 2003, construction began to enlarge the facility by adding a larger reception area/office, 10 large indoor/outdoor
suites for dogs, and 2 extra large cat cages. The Creature Comfort Inn now has 30 indoor/outdoor dog runs, and 6 cat
cages in the 2,400 sq. ft. environmentally controlled building.
We invite you to view the pictures on our site. We are quite proud
of our boarding kennel and enjoy showing it to you.
